The story of a couple who were told they would never have children. Through hope, fate, and shear luck, got pregnant with Maggie. Then, 4 1/2 months later got pregnant with identical twins Caleb and Dylan.

Maggie watching tv this morning
Well, the glasses were going pretty well and then all of the sudden Maggie and the boys thought it would be much more fun to see how many different directions the ear pieces could conform to. So, as you can see here, she is being the perfect angel, probably because she doesn't have to wear her glasses until Mommy gets her a strap!!!

Well, there goes another Nanny!!! Tomorrow is her last day and Darcey starts!!! She seems to be really sweet; I just hope she stays with us for a bit. It worries me that Caleb has this stranger danger thing going on and Dylan is starting to experience the same thing. I think if we can find someone with a bit of longevity it will be so much better for them.
The doctors check up went really well. Caleb is now in the 15 - 25th percentile. Dylan is in the 5th percentile, and "big ole" Maggie is pushing the 25th percentile herself!!! You go girl, your back on the charts, with a bang!
This last week has been lots of fun!!! Mike fell out of an attic at a new house he was working on. Apparently, some "brain child" forgot to screw in the attic stairs so as Mike was coming down they collapsed under him. His leg was in between 2 stairs and the rest of the ladder broke his fall. His bum is bruised pretty bad, knee scraped up and his back is not feeling so well either. I am just glad he is ok for the most part. My poor baby!!!
This all happened on the one night I was suppose to out with the girls and have a bit of time to myself. Also, I had a babysitter all lined up so Mike and I could go out on date night the following evening. Well, needless to say neither night was in the cards! I wouldn’t change any of it though. He got some much needed rest and as for me, well I spent some wonderful time with my crazy kids!!!
Until next time…..enjoy YOUR wonderful crazy life!!

Dylan is walking now!! What a big man, before I know it they will be going in completely different directions. Caleb has got it but still looks like a little monster when he walks.
We have a doctors appointment on Monday for their checkups. First time all three are going to get shots at the same time. :(
I called the pediatric eye doctor today to find out how in the heck to keep Maggie's glasses on and the only thing she had to say was "Well maybe she just needs a little more time" REALLY? Those people are starting to tick me off, first they say that she will just wear them because she will realize that she can see better and now they are saying to get a strap and just keep at it? Hmmm, I could have figured that out and I am not a "specialist". LOL!!!
Just in case you don't know Maggie has been diagnosed with having Strabismus which is basically a technical term for having a lazy eye. The doctor prescribed her eye glasses to wear full time for 6-8 weeks to see if they help realign her eye. If that doesn't work then he said we would be looking at surgery. That appointment is not until the middle of September. So, in the mean time we are trying to get her to wear them. If anyone has any advice at all please let me know.
The boys amaze me every day, their new nanny started yesterday and Dylan took right to her. Caleb on the other hand was my shy little man that just wanted to cling to Mimi. By the time I got home everyone was happy and had acclimated well. Cindy is really wonderful with the boys and I think she is going to be amazing. So far so good!!! Hopefully we will never have another crazy nanny like the "Cleaning Lady"!!!
WalMart tonight, I am wondering what the comments will be this evening? "Are they triplets?", maybe "Oh, my gosh, how do you do it?" or one of my favorites "Are they ALL yours?" Well, whatever it is it probably won't be the first or last time I hear it. Besides, you wont find a cuter trio in there. I love my life!!!
